Call Interview Questions
provided by Bob Mueller

Please understand that this “script” is only an aid in stimulating the conversation, and putting the prospect in a mode to sell him or herself. You must carefully listen to the answer to each question. Careful listening will probably stimulate “follow up” questions which should be pursued before going on to the next “script” question. Also, since you can’t totally control the other side of the conversation, you may need to ask the questions in a slightly different order to not seem like you are reading from a script. But, because the questions are designed to build momentum in the prospect, you should try to keep them relatively in order.

After the initial pleasantries of Hi, How are you, and What’s the weather like in ____, I ask the following questions:

  1. Would it be OK if I asked you a few questions to help me understand if our business is right for you, and vice versa? (I’ve never had a negative response to this question. If I did get a negative response, I would probably thank them and terminate the call.)
  2. What do you do for a living right now?
  3. What do you like best about your present job?
  4. What do you dislike most about your present job?
  5. Why are you considering a home based business?
  6. What appealed to you most in the initial letter/postcard/email/ad I sent you?
  7. Are you concerned about cancer causing ingredients in many of your personal care products?
  8. Have you watched the video I sent you (or the WebPrez presentation)?
  9. What appealed to you most about the video/presentation)?
  10. Do you have any questions about the video/presentation?
  11. Do you have any questions about our business?
  12. Could you get real excited about helping other people achieve financial independence while at the same time helping them improve their health and the health of their loved ones (and feeding hungry children at the same time)?
  13. Do you have 5 to 10 hours each week you could spend developing your home based business if you truly believed that within two years or so you could have an income of $8-10,000 per month?

Finally, if you are getting positive responses, and you feel like the prospect could be a valuable addition to our team, tell them so by saying something like:

  14. I am really encouraged by our conversation. I have a strong feeling that if you will commit TO YOURSELF to put in the few hours required each week, you will be very successful.

It is important that they are committing to themselves not to you. They are the only ones who can make their business successful.

  15. Are you ready to begin building your own financial independence?
